The Plates
They’re the result of a collaborative effort from chef Luke Knox and artist Jennifer Issaverdens of Issa Pottery, located in Sausalito. Made with California clay, these dishes are meant to feel natural and organic with colors that evoke the state’s forests and mountains, as well as the Pacific Ocean.
The Glasses
Issaverdens created the drinking glasses from recycled wine bottles. While not all of the bottles originated in California, the wines were all drunk locally.
SFist - Petit Crenn
And at a ten seat bar, wine Director Courtney Humiston will keep customers happy with wine, champagne, and, in the Breton mode, a variety of French and local ciders. For kicks, those are to be served in traditional hand-made ceramic cups, made especially by Issa Pottery in Sausalito.
Gayot - Bouche
Antiqued walls, low lighting, heavy doses of salvaged wood and striking dishware created by Issa Pottery define the bi-level French-Californian-fusion bistro.
